Welcome to Fundraising Pixel ADs.
This site is designed to serve as an advertising outlet for anyone that
wants a cheap and easy way to get visitors to their website. Everyone knows that
more visitors means more profits. This site was created as a means for me to pay
for my college expenses. The goal is to sell 250,000 pixels at $0.50 each to advertisers. To find out more, visit our Frequently Asked Questions. I got the idea from Million Dollar Homepage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the purpose of this site?
A: This site was created for people to use as an advertising outlet in order to drive visitors (and profits) to their site. It was created as a means for me to help raise money for my various college expenses.
Q: How did you come up with the idea?
A: I came up with this idea after hearing about Million Dollar Homepage The creator of that site sold 1,000,000 pixels at $1 each. I'm not looking to be a millionaire, just trying to pay off some college expenses. Therefore, I am only offering 250,000 pixels at $0.50 each.
Q: Why is it so expensive?
A: Well if you really think about it, it's not. It can EASILY cost $200 to start an advertising campaign that lasts for a year that increases your Google rankings and amount of site visitors. And you usually have to renew this campaign each year which adds up to hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
With FPA, you can advertise your site on our homepage for the lifetime of our site. The more advertisers we have, the more money I have to put towards webhosting, which means the site will be running for addtional years, which means you are continuously receiving visitors. If you sign up for lifetime display (which is only an additional $15), your site will receive massive traffic without having to pay to renew the service each year.
I'm selling my space at $0.50 per pixel which is less than Million Dollar Homepage. I also offer special deals where you get discounts such as Buy 1 Get 1 25% Off.
The amount of money you spend purchasing space on this site will easily be paid for after the first wave of visitors that come to your site. Those visitors will result in product sales or at least advertising sales from ads that you have on your site.
Q: How does this site work?
A: It is very simple. If somebody wants to promote their website, they buy space on the homepage of my website. The units of space are called pixels. Pixels are sold at $0.50 each. The least amount of space that someone may purchase is 10x10 pixels. I do this because, if the image were any smaller than that, it would be easily overlooked by visitors. Space is sold on a first come, first serve basis.
I believe that those images that are located closer to the top of the page will receive the most hits because it is the first thing visitors see. When someone purchases pixel space, they are automatically placed as close to the top of the page as possible unless they indicate otherwise. Some peope might request to be placed in the center of the page or at the bottom. Both of these places will generate a lot of visitors. Also, images located on the left side of the page will receive more hits than those on the right because people are used to reading from left to right.
The amount of time each image is displayed on the homepage ranges from 1 year to the lifetime of the website. When a site is exposed as often as that, it is bound to receive a lot of visitors. The amount of visitors a site gets is positively correlated with the amount of revenue that site generates whether it be through sales or advertisements on their page. So advertising here will, no doubt, bring customers to your site. How much? That depends on how many visitors this site receives. A porton of the money I receive through pixel sales will go towards promoting this site on Google and other major search engines to get more visitors to this site, which would in turn, bring more visitors to yours. Some of the money will also go towards maintaining the site and paying for my hosting. The longer this site is running, the more visitors each site gets (especially those that paid for lifetime display).
Q: How are payments made?
A: Payments are made via Paypal. Paypal is a SECURE money exchange client. For those of you that already have an account, you already know how fast, safe, and reliable it is. For those of you that don't have any account, feel free to create one even if you don't use it on this website. Paypal is a great tool for internet shoppers.
Q: When will I start getting visitors? How Much?
A: That all depends on when you start advertising on this site. If you start advertising with us early, you may not see visitors right away because our Google rankings aren't vary high but I'm working on improving that. Once that happens, a lot of visitors should be coming to our site which in return, means some will go to your site. If you advertise with us as soon as possible (especially now that the site is starting off), your image will be placed closer to the top. Like I mentioned earlier, images that are closest to the top receive the most hits. So it's better to be one of the first ones advertising with us in order to have prime location AND ESPECIALLY since right now we are having the First 100 People Advertise for FREE deal!!
Q: What kind of sites do you accept?
A: I accept all sites except for those with adult content.
Q: What are some of the expenses you are paying?
A: The money generated from the site will help defray the following expenses:
NOTE: This does not include increases in price over that next few years.
College Tuition for 4 years: $27,200
On-Campus Housing for the first two years: $14,400
Off-Campus Housing for the last two years: About $10,800
Semester Abroad in London: $5,000, estimated to include plane ticket.
International Student Volunteers Volunteering in Croatia: $5,000, estimated to include plane ticket.
Hosting this website: $100/year
Improve my Google rankings to provide more visitors: At least $200/year
Grand Total: $62,700
Q: Where will the extra money go?
A: I don't want to sound cheesy but I've always enjoyed helping people.
So far, I have planned to have AT LEAST $19,650 to be used to give back to my advertisers in sweepstakes.
I would give at least $5,000 to various charities that I like.
I would give an equal amount to environmental relief programs such as Katrina, the recent earth quake in China, etc.
I would invest maybe $10,000.
I would give a portion of it to my family members in need.
I might buy my family a car so we could stop sharing.
I will help my brother (who is also in college) pay for his housing because he is struggling to do so.
I might start a volleyball camp for the kids around my town. I would need to buy equipment for at least 50 girls and rent out a space to play at.
I would like to participate in additional study abroad programs. And those are a few thousand dollars each.
I would take my parents on a much needed vacation.
There's tons I would like to do. I'm not a very materialistic or greedy person. Most of the stuff I would do is to help other people. After all, this was all started in order to help my PARENTS to pay my college expenses
